Warren Wickremesooriya

Warren's expertise as a performer spans over twenty
years,
with stints as a cellist in the National Youth Orchestra and as a
versatile and sought after guitarist both here and abroad.
He has also an extensive teaching experience both here in Australia and
overseas - for both young and mature age students. He can teach you
guitar right from the basics all the way to advanced levels in all
playing styles. His main playing style is the flamenco guitar.
His musical qualifications include a bachelors degree from Box Hill
Institute and various diplomas from such renown academies as Trinity
College London.
He has also won several awards and produced three albums.
Warren is currently a member of the Latin-Jazz guitar duo Ambiente
which has performed at
prominent venues and events such as the Government House, the
Commonwealth Games, festivals (hosted by the Mayor of the city of
Whitehorse and John So), graduations, weddings and various functions.
Currently Warren teaches on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
