Richard Finette
Richard is an enthusiastic educator who has been teaching the
guitar for a great number of years, to students of all ages and ability
both at home and through music schools and am committed to providing a
solid education in the study of modern guitar and instilling music
appreciation of the modern era for the last 5 decades.
He has shown proven ability for tailoring lessons to meet the
students’ diverse needs capturing their interest and imagination
with the use of a creative lesson plan which integrates formal
(foundation of music, ANZCA examinations preparation) to informal
(rapid songwriting solutions and performance).
Richard also encourages students to use technology in their learning
plan to enhance their musical experience and progress with free
software such as audacity which can slow down songs whilst keeping the
pitch intact.
Richard has played in a number of cover bands and duets from playing
classic rock to funk and reggae and in different types of venues,
including Churches.
Richard teaches with us on Fridays.
