Natalia Rakhlin

Natalia Rakhlin was born in Russia and has learnt music from the early
age
of 5, eventually graduating with a Diploma in Education, majoring in
Classical Music. During her studies, Natalia regularly performed solo
as both a pianist and a singer. She also performed in orchestras and in
choirs, especially her church choir.
After completing her studies, Natalia gained invaluable experience
teaching both practical and music theory in Primary Schools and
specialist Music Schools. Natalia has also worked closely with young
children in pre-school as a drama teacher.
Whilst working, Natalia also undertook a Psychology Course. She
believes, through her psychology studies, that music can play an
important role in the development of a child’s mind.
Natalia moved to Australia in 2004, gaining further experience teaching
music privately. She has students of varying ages and levels. Her
teaching methods vary depending on what the student wishes to gain from
these lessons, whether it is someone who is playing for leisure,
preparing for their AMEB or learning theory.
Natalia is a sociable and responsive teacher who currently teaches on
Fridays and Saturdays.
