Duo Deconet Latin American Music for Violin and Piano

A unique opportunity to hear an exciting and little-known repertoire: works for violin and piano by Latin American composers from Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Uruguay, many for the first time in Australia.

Mexican pianist Irma Enríquez and Venezuelan violinist Henry Avila formed Duo Deconet in 2008, with the aim of promoting the rich heritage of Latin American art music and the new generation of contemporary Latin American composers. In 2010 they released their first CD: Mexican Concert Music.
